Join the Swedish Weaving Club and discover the timeless art of Swedish weaving, a unique embroidery technique that combines surface stitching with weaving. Once a staple in Home Economics classes across Ontario and Quebec, this traditional needlework has seen a resurgence in popularity over the past decade. Whether you're crafting afghans, wall hangings, towels, or table runners, you can create beautiful designs using yarn, embroidery floss, or even metallic threads. 

This program is open to all skill levels, so come explore this once almost-lost art and create something beautiful.

The Swedish Weaving Club takes place at the Ingleside Library Branch every Tuesday from September 2, 2025 - November 25, 2025
