The Battle of Crysler's Farm was a pivotal battle fought on November 11 1813 on the farms along the waterfront in South Dundas. British, Canadian, local militia and indigenous allies were greatly outnumbered by the American invaders but none the less defeated the Americans. Every two years the Friends of the Crysler Farm Battlefield with the support of the Parks of the St. Lawrence and SDG Tourism hold a re-enactment of the battle adjacent to the Battlefield Memorial Building.
